Our Venue: Your Venue

Our stunning canvas marquee comfortably seats 150 people, and comes fitted with traditional ropes and white wooden poles, as well as canvas sides which can be removed when the sun is shining.

The flooring is made from 100% natural hessian coconut matting and we include a maple-wood parquet dance-floor. We string fairy lights and pendant lights inside and out, to create a warm, soft glow. Together with your flowers and additional decorations, the marquee creates an elegant, understated backdrop to any country wedding or event.

Outside we set up our skittle alley, croquet and coconut shy, providing the perfect place for guests to mingle in the afternoon sun whilst drinking champagne and enjoying canapés (or whatever takes your fancy).

Move into the marquee for your sit-down lunch or dinner, and as the sun sets, roll back the sides to reveal the night stars, or keep them closed for a more intimate feel.


Your Day: Your Way


We will only host your event on the day.  You are invited to add additional personal touches to the marquee the day before your event, whether this includes arranging your own flowers, finalsing your seating plan or dropping off your wedding favours.


Our wedding and event season normally runs from May to September each year.  However, for 2020 we have decided to limit the number of weddings we host so book early!


A number of different options are available.  Our basic package includes the use of our beautiful location, marquee, tables, chairs and decor for your exclusive event, but we are also highly experienced in running events including the sourcing of local food and wine, live entertainment, porta-loos, transport, accommodation, flowers, churches and photography.

In many instances we are able to source from local suppliers at a discount to their published rates.

No Corkage

We are one of the few venues in the UK that does not charge corkage, nor do we require you to work with any specific suppliers, saving you considerable costs.


We are not required to charge you VAT meaning you have an extra 20% to spend on your food, wine and entertainment.


We can arrange various styles of food and drink.  How about cocktail trucks?

Maybe you would like to have yurts, shepherd’s huts, or hotels and B&Bs so guests can sleep nearby?  If so, we can organise it.

Flexible and Personal

Most importantly, this is your day, not ours.  We are passionate about creating memories that will last a lifetime.  We give you as much flexibility as we can to run the event as you wish.

Our family run approach means you will never feel part of a wedding or event conveyor belt.  This is the ethos of our business as can be seen from the gallery photos and the testimonials from over the years.
